Make arXiv Red Again restores arXiv.org's iconic red header banner, reverting the 2026 redesign that turned it black.
It's a tiny, pure-CSS extension with no JavaScript, no permissions, no network requests, and no data collection. It simply applies a stylesheet so the arXiv banner shows its classic crimson (#b31b1b) again.
Prefer a different shade? It's open source: change one color value in arxiv-red.css and reload. Works on any page under https://arxiv.org.
