I am not a Social Media person. I don't do Facebook, My Space, Pinterest, Linked-In or any of that "look at me" BS. I don't even use my phone for email and as such am not stupid enough to pay for unneeded data and have very limited data each month because of that fact. I rarely use my preferred Firefox Browser for Android on my phone and installed the uBlock Origin add on to stop my phone's browser from REPEATEDLY being hijacked AS MUCH AS TEN TIMES A DAY AND SEVERAL TIMES AN HOUR to go to bull crap Tarot websites in particular!!! I added the uBlock Origin add on to my Firefox Browser for Android AND SPECIFICALLY ADDED www.toouds.top, toouds.top, https://www.toouds.top/ to the MY FILTERS section of the app and clicked the little gold check mark above the list and the freaking uBlock Origin still permits the browser to be hijacked and goes to the freaking Tarot website and does nothing to stop this unauthorized data theft just to show me their crap!!!
There is a reason I hate smartphones! I have a mediocre 16Mpxl digital camera that easily puts the P.O.S. phone camera to shame. I have a great Asus Notebook PC that blows the phone's online capabilities away! I Have a fantastic LG OLED65C9PUA TV with Dolby ATMOS that simply gives me no reason to even want to look at a tiny phone screen other than to see who is calling.
My phone is a phone... PERIOD!!! I don't need it OR ANYONE trying to convince me to use it for any other crap. If I could throw it away and go back to a reliable flip phone, I would!
uBlock Origin for Firefox for Android isn't doing a damned thing to help improve my opinion of smartphones. There is NOTHING intuitive about how to use uBlock Origin for Firefox for the Android OS and even after following EVERY step given in the online tutorials I did find, it CONSTANTLY FAILS to block tarot websites AND THIS IS INEXCUSABLE FOR SOMETHING TOUTED AS BEING SO DAMNED GOOD when from all my experience with it, IT IS WORTHLESS!

THIS ADD-ON NEEDS TO ACTUALLY WORK AS ADVERTISED!

Since uBlock Origin for Firefox for Android is TOTALLY WORTHLESS and since I don't use my phone online BECAUSE I HAVE A PC FOR THAT, I deleted both the Chrome and Firefox Browsers from my phone in order to prevent me being billed premium data rates due to all this freaking ILLEGAL DATA THEFT that uBlock Origin does nothing to stop.
PROBLEM SOLVED!!! NO THANKS TO uBlock Origin!!!

    Thank you for the great uBlock Origin extension. If configured correctly, I use four filters: EasyPrivacy, AdGuard/uBO – URL Tracking Protection, uBlock filters – Badware risks, and Malicious URL Blocklist. This allows me to block tracking without blocking ads, reduces device load, and doesn’t interfere with content creators earning from advertising.

    I highly recommend it but i would very appreciate that there is an option to add a password option for editing the settings. I block certain websites but it's almost 2 clicks easy to disable it. This would prevent a child to have access to websites for exemple

    If you are not using this you are missing out. It simply the best ad/tracker blocker. Once you have started using this, the internet becomes unbearable without it. Thank you so much to the dev team! Can't recommend this enough.

    In my opinion and experience this is the best free ad blocking service available. Very effective with little to none CPU load.

    The GOAT Firefox add-on. It's not just for blocking ads, it also goes a great job of blocking all sorts of cruft that has turned the Internet into a nightmare to use e.g. floating video windows, chatbots etc. I will never use the Internet without uBlock Origin ever again.

    Unusuable. There are no instructions of any kind. The UI is not any standard kind. Everything is hidden behind some inscrutable icon. All I want is a way to say "block this page", or to add a URL to a block list, but despite the vast multitude of icons and menus leading down endless rabbitholes, there are no options to block this page, or to add a URL to a block list, that I can find. Neither is there any provided blocklist, or info on where to find a good blocklist. This is possibly the worst user interface I've ever seen in nearly 50 years of using computers every day. It's like it was made by ancient Egyptians.

    I can no longer use the internet without this. Websites run so much faster and are less cluttered now that there aren't 100 video adds playing at once. What is even better than the add blocking is the fact that you can block anything you want. I use this feature constantly. I've remove so many AI "features" and messages telling me I should get the premium version of whatever I'm using.
    With this extension, everything I see on the internet is only what I intended to.
    Absolutely incredible. I can't live without it.

    This is a must-have extension, makes browsing so much faster and cleaner. It speeds up browsing so much, even with all the filters enabled, it still has a significant speed gain. I finally don't have to deal with al those ads. It also blocks other trackers in the background so they don't collect info about you. It almost never breaks a site, and even when it does, it is easy to fix. Would recommand.
