About this extension
Converts .3mf files to Snapmaker U1 format, right in your browser.
Two ways to use it:
AUTOMATIC: Download a .3mf from any site (MakerWorld, Printables, Thingiverse, etc.) and the extension intercepts it, lets you adjust the filament mapping, and saves the converted file.
MANUAL: Click the extension icon and drop in a .3mf you already have on disk.
Works with files from any slicer:
• Bambu Lab / OrcaSlicer
• PrusaSlicer / SuperSlicer
• Standard 3MF format
• Generic files (falls back to single PLA filament)
Features:
• Filament mapping UI with color picker (56 presets + hex input)
• Drag-and-drop slot reordering
• Automatic Tree Support detection
• Recognizes files already configured for U1 and skips unnecessary conversion
• Preserves original filename (saves as "Model Name-U1.3mf")
• Option to download the original unconverted file
• Handles any number of filaments, maps them to the U1's 4 slots
Everything runs locally in your browser. No data is sent anywhere, no account required, no server involved.
The converted file opens in Snapmaker Orca for final slicing.
