A Tiger in the Forest
I spotted this female Eastern Tiger Swallowtail in a little woods near my house. She was resting, with wings outstretched, by the path. The Tiger didn't fly away when I approached. She had been injured, probably by a hungry bird. After photographing her, I moved her gently to a less visible area.
