What this extension does
Amazon to AI reads the current Amazon page you are viewing and formats that product information into a structured prompt you can paste into an AI assistant. All processing happens locally inside your browser.

Data we collect
None. The extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, browsing history, or product data. No analytics. No telemetry. No servers.

Permissions explained

activeTab / scripting — reads the Amazon page you are currently viewing, only when you click the extension icon.
clipboardWrite — copies the generated prompt to your clipboard.
tabs — opens Claude, ChatGPT, or Perplexity in a new tab when you use the Send to AI buttons.
storage — saves your context settings locally so they persist between sessions.
Third-party services
When you use the Send to AI buttons, your browser opens the selected AI service in a new tab. What you paste into those services is governed by their own privacy policies. This extension does not automatically send data to any third party.
