About this extension
Barz CVE Hunter is a high-performance, lightweight browser extension engineered specifically for cybersecurity professionals, penetration testers, and bug bounty hunters. It streamlines your vulnerability research workflow by consolidating critical threat intelligence feeds and advanced AI reasoning into a single, tactical command center.

🎯 Key Features:
  • Multi-Source CVE Lookup: Instantly retrieve detailed vulnerability definitions and severity metrics directly from the National Vulnerability Database (NVD).
  • Automated GitHub PoC Finder: Automatically scour GitHub for active Proof-of-Concept exploits. Features highly optimized keyword filtering (.py, .go, .rb, rce, sqli, exploit) and a robust repository blacklist to eliminate noise and false positives.
  • Passive Recon & Threat Intel: Tap into Shodan, Censys, and the CISA KEV (Known Exploited Vulnerabilities) catalog to immediately identify if a flaw is being actively exploited in the wild.
  • AI-Powered Exploit Analysis: Integrated with OpenRouter and Hugging Face APIs. Leverage state-of-the-art LLMs to dissect complex vulnerability mechanics, map out exploitation scenarios, and generate remediation strategies.
  • Fully Customizable Architecture: Define your own custom API endpoints, prioritize target GitHub repositories, and fine-tune search signals to match your red-teaming or threat-hunting scope.

🛡️ Built for Speed and Privacy:

In modern cyber reconnaissance, speed is your primary leverage. Instead of juggling dozens of open tabs for NVD, GitHub search, Shodan queries, and AI interfaces, Barz CVE Hunter centralizes your entire workflow.

Zero telemetry, zero data collection—built by security researchers, for security researchers.
Developer comments
Hi everyone! While doing bug bounty hunting, I constantly found myself losing valuable time researching newly encountered vulnerabilities and manually searching for valid PoCs. When I looked for a browser extension to automate this workflow, I realized nothing like it existed—so I sat down and built it myself through vibe coding. I truly hope it speeds up the workflow for fellow bug hunters and penetration testers.

Since this is my very first browser extension project, I am completely open to your feedback, advice, and suggestions!
