Latest version
Version 0.7.0
Released May 31, 2026 - 94.12 KBWorks with firefox 109.0a1 and later, android 120.0 and laterVisual overhaul plus new tools for watching and browsing.
UI
- New design system across on-page UI, settings, and popup. Consistent
surfaces, focus rings, mobile tap targets, prefers-reduced-motion
support.
- Settings restructured: the old Behavior card split into Filtering,
Browse history, and UI surfaces. Status messages now show success and
error states.
- Rule lists (blocked users, keywords, user|word, highlight users,
highlight keywords) are now scrollable chip editors with duplicate
detection. Long lists no longer balloon the page.
- Reason badges on blocked or highlighted cards moved to top-right so
they no longer overlap Erome's view counts.
- Save Album modal: collection labels no longer clip under the
checkbox.
Filtering
- Emoji keywords. Add emojis to any blocked or highlighted keyword list
and they match even when jammed against letters in a title.
- Action sheet suggestions now include emojis from the title.
- Letter keywords keep word-boundary protection so "ass" still doesn't
match "class". Pure-emoji keywords match anywhere.
Browse history
- Settings export and import now include browse history. On import,
history merges with local data: the more advanced state wins per
album, the newer timestamp is kept.
- Capacity raised from 4,000 to 25,000 marks per state (seen, opened).
- Seen-while-scrolling dim now appears only on a fresh page load. The
album you discovered just now stays bright until you reload or come
back later.
Album pages
- Hide images button (bottom-left) for "video-only" viewing. Photos and
their wrappers collapse out of layout so the album reads as video
only. State resets each page visit.
- Video gallery button (next to the hide-images button) opens a
vertical reel of every video in the album. Native controls,
scroll-snap, ArrowUp / ArrowDown / wheel scroll to navigate. Press f
on the album page to toggle the gallery. Opens to whichever video is
closest to your scroll position; closes back to that same video's
spot on the page.
Video QoL on Erome pages
- Per-video reload button (top-right, reveals on hover). Click to
cache-bust and reload a stalled or buffering video, resuming from
where you were.
- Automatic recovery when a video stalls or buffers for more than six
seconds. Capped at two attempts per video with a fifteen-second
cooldown, so it never loops.
- Double-tap left or right side of a video on touch (or pointer
devices) to seek backward or forward by ten seconds, with a brief
visual flash on the seek direction.
- Videos auto-pause when scrolled off screen and resume when scrolled
back into view.Source code released under Mozilla Public License 2.0

Version 0.4.0
Released May 1, 2026 - 39.27 KBWorks with firefox 109.0a1 and later, android 120.0 and laterChanges:
Infinite scroll filtering now handles multiple sibling #albums feed sections by scanning all recognized roots and observing #page with document.body fallback. The single-root assumption was removed from content/site.js and content/main.js.
Highlights are stronger, thumbnail-only, and pulsing, with configurable color and intensity via schema v5 in shared/config.js, CSS custom properties in content/ui/styles.css, and controls in options/options.html and options/options.js.
Added simple categories management with id, name, term, favorite, favorites-first alphabetical ordering, same-tab open, clear new-tab action, edit, and delete. The in-page categories sheet is in content/ui/floating.js; settings-page management is in the options files.Source code released under Mozilla Public License 2.0
