Stopped working

I've been using this add-on frequently for a long time and it's been great, but it has now stopped working :-( It appears that it hasn't been updated since November 2021, but hopefully the author will see all of the recent reviews and fix it for us.

doesn't work most of the time. I double-click a word and it says it couldn't find the definition.

99% of time doesn't work. No definition show up.

Very good. Just wish hitting "more" searched the word in DuckDuckGo, or if the search engine it uses was customizable.

I just used this on Twitter and the words "Production", "Inexorably" and other words don't give me any definition :(

Overall simple and useful extension. I wish other languages were supported. Is it really that difficult to make functionality so any custom dict file can be used? It seems so funny in the year 2024 that a dictionary app is hardfixed for Spanish, German, French and English.

Edit 9 months later: The extension stopped working entirely. Uninstalling.

Doesnt work in firefox 130.0.1. Its been a while since it was last updated. So probably abandonware!

It disabled the context menu, like, seriously? Oh well, I was just checking this out, I already have a good Definer add-on.

This was a decent Dictionary but just quit working. Not as much info like the others unless you went off page.

It has stopped working since yesterday, the last straw for me to ditch Firefox I guess

Language is very few and the lack of Arabic language

It used to be a great extension but it doesn't work anymore. Garbage. Don't waste your time.

Downloaded the extension and did a test run.

First word searched: "Image".

[[ NO DEFINITION FOUND ]]

Second word searched: "Approved".

[[ NO DEFINITION FOUND ]]

Wow, fascinating.

"Recommended" by Mozilla, again proving that Mozilla would recommend trash or spyware extensions randomly, quality be damned. This extension was last updated 3 years ago, there is no reason to keep it as "recommended".
