What information do you collect?

DownloadBar does not collect any personal information. Downloads are only retained as internal download IDs -- their names and contents are not retained.
If you choose to customize it, DownloadBar will remember which file extensions you have chosen to "always notify".

How do you use the information?

DownloadBar uses the download IDs to track download state across tabs. For example, if you close a download in one tab, it should disappear when you switch to another tab.
DownloadBar does not retain download IDs after a complete browser shutdown (as the IDs are invalidated).

What information do you share?

DownloadBar does not communicate with any external services.

How do I delete my data?

Restart the browser, or just click the "X" on the download bar (which clears all saved downloads).
To remove the retained file extensions, go to the options page.
