Privacy policy for Drain

Drain stores the website hostnames you explicitly select for automatic activation, your enabled or paused preferences, and optional hostname-level usage totals in Firefox local extension storage.
Optional totals may include activation counts, bypass counts, and foreground-visible time while a configured website is drained or temporarily bypassed. Drain does not create a general browsing-history log.
Drain does not transmit information outside the extension or local browser. It does not record or transmit page paths, queries, titles, page text, form values, messages, cookies, selected hostnames, settings, or usage totals.
Drain has no analytics, telemetry, advertising, behavioral profiling, account, payment, synchronization, or remote-configuration service. It does not sell or monetize browsing data. All executable code, styles, fonts, and icons are packaged with the extension.
Permissions are used as follows:
activeTabidentifies the current website when the user chooses automatic activation, bypass, or resume from the toolbar.scriptingapplies Drain's packaged grayscale stylesheet and content controller to a website selected by the user.- Optional website access is requested one website at a time and includes its subdomains.
storagekeeps settings and optional statistics locally on the device.
Users can remove individual websites, revoke their website permissions, pause or clear statistics, disable Drain, or uninstall the extension at any time.
Version 1.0 has no Premium features, payments, accounts, synchronization, analytics, or data transmission. Any future version introducing those capabilities will update this policy and the applicable store disclosures before release.
