- Rated 3 out of 5by Droiyan7 (Yi, JoonHo), 11 hours agoIt would be great if there were a setting to download only the original audio (especially OPUS MP4) instead of MP3.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Clueless in Seattle, 2 days agoEasy Youtube Video Downloader Express stopped working. So I emailed Dishita and on that same day I received an alert from Firefox that Easy Youtube Video Downloader had been updated to the latest version. It works perfectly again.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Howie, 2 days agoThank you for making it so much more sane to download videos (in my case, usually instructional videos that are more convenient to have readily available on my desktop than to hunt them down again on-line). Your labor is much appreciated for making such an easily used add-on which readily converts items to a wide variety of formats, whether video or audio, relatively intuitively.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Manila-D, 2 days agoApril 11 2026: Simply put 24.2 does not work whereas the previous version did work some of the time but not all of the time...
April 13 2026: I stand by my review Dishita. It's accurate and reflects the fact that version 24.2 is not working. It shows Initializng...then processing 0% and no downloading progress is indicated. Then it informs you the video downloaded, and to check your download folder. I did that and it shows the video is there but 0% and that's it. I tried downloading (2) other videos with the same result. I disabled the (2) ad-blockers I use and tried to download again - the result was the same. I tried with the VPN on and the result was the same. Of note is I generally don't use the VPN when downloading videos but did to see if that would make a difference. I checked all Firefox settings that would in any way interfere with downloading videos and they are where they were when using previous versions of your downloader when it was working reliably. I went a step further in case it might've been an issue with Windows 11 and tried on my Mac Book Pro - the results were the same. Also of note is disabling Norton didn't help on either, likewise Malwarebytes - the results were the same...
As for you saying I didn't leave a positive review when it was working, sorry but you're mistaken because I did, but deleted it when I downgraded my 5-star review to a 1-star review...
As for it working for 99% of users, well, I'm skeptical of that since many of the 5-star reviews look anonymous and there's no commentary...
As this question of Firefox my grandson suggested - are they unknowingly or otherwiese doing something to break your downloader?
I will change my review if conditions warrant doing so...Developer response
