by Firefox user 18607084, 5 months agoBefore last update,m no problems. Now, every time I download a video over 200MB, this AddOn consumes a lot of resources, pauses other videos\streams I have running & takes out the audio channel on some.
This app now eats even more memory and freezes everything when downloading.
Oh, and did I mention the massive, incredibly invasive ad\begging letter?

posted a month agoHi! Resource consumption and freezing during large downloads — that's a real issue we've worked on. Version 24.1 improves performance significantly. We've also toned down the donation prompts. Please update and try downloading a large video again. If the experience is better, we'd love an updated review! 🙏

As a musician it is very useful to gather references in whatever genre that may not be released yet or have been out of print for so long they are extremely expensive or not available. Thank you Videodroid for the work you have been doing for so long to keep this extension relative and important.
