A very good extension, when it works. As soon as YT changes it algorithm, it stops working, and you have to wait or a fix. MP3 sometimes works, and now also the mp4 mvie downloads have stopped. Bummer

The add-on would not let me proceed past the splash screen without leaving a review. So here it is. The add-on has been generally good in the past but has deteriorated recently. I even donated in 2024 to support the developer and get access to the Pro benefits, but the add-on no longer recognises me as a Pro user, and the support email that I sent was ignored.

Don't work on Firefox 115.34esr, actualy the last version for W7 that is update and support from Mozilla up to August 2026 ! even in a clean new profile: no green download button

On Youtube it failed. The file shows 0mb

worked for a bit = 1week... now downloads empty file

The mp3 downloads used to work for me before, but now it just downloads a 0 byte mp4 file when I try to download a song in mp3 format, the videos were also fully loaded before my attempts at downloading the music.

It doosent work no longer....

May be youtube have changed the something,affter this add-on's last update.

Now, it downloads the video over about 90 seconds and indicates that it has been successfully downloaded, except when you go to the file, it's saved as 0 mb; it's not a file at all. I'm giving this software 2 stars now simply because it has worked well in the past.

Works some of the time and not other times. The latest foible is dozens and dozens of language options and even though I select English, the language the video was originally recorded, it still downloads in some other language. This developer needs to allow the user to set language preference or at least default to the original language. Goodness, this is not an improvement.

Worked well with lots of options: IT IS AN UNDISCLOSED PAID SERVICE after a few downloads.

Bummer it downloads only half of 2 hours of 720p video and it's just 211mb, clearly not intended for big files.

Easy to use. (Update) Says the video has been downloaded but the file is created but no data is downloaded. After it says video has been downloaded, it says Video is being processed but nothing changes. There is no video to play and under VLC it simply gives the series of errors as there is no data.
I hope this can be fixed.

If the file is any size above 500mb, even at lowest quality when converting my computer cant do anything else while it converts, dunno what resource it is using, because my cpu is at only 10%, disk usage 0%, gpu 0%. but the fans are going wild for some reason. Cant browse anything else while its converting....so yea im not gonna use this much except for the small files (below 100mb its superfast on low quality for audiobooks ect)
