posted a month agoHi ArdDGuzman! The empty files issue was caused by a recent YouTube algorithm change that affected how the addon processed downloads. We've released version 24.1 which fixes this — you should now get complete, playable video files instead of empty ones. Please update to the latest version and give it a try. If it works as expected, we'd love it if you could update your review. Thanks!Developer response
posted a month agoHi! We understand your concern about the paid upgrade for 1080p and MP3 features — these require our own server infrastructure because YouTube no longer provides direct download links for those formats. However, standard video downloads are still completely free! We've also just released version 24.1 which fixes the download issues many users were experiencing. Please update to the latest version and you should be able to download videos again. If it works for you, we'd appreciate an updated review. Thanks!- Rated 5 out of 5by KM Cheng, a month ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12629465, a month agoI really wanted to post a good review as this USED TO work, but not now. Firefox, latest release on Mac Studio. Said the download is ready - but nothing there; not even a dud file. And I really wanted a copy of this recipe tinyurl.com/mrxu5635. Sorry! :(
