5 stars, awesome, never had a problem using this

Below is my review from 3 years ago. Just wanted to bring it up to date. This extension continues to be the best solution to youtube downloading that I have tried and I have tried at least a dozen approaches.



I've tried a lot of add-ons and apps but this one has been the most consistently functional. I live in the mountains with weak broadband so downloading is a far better mode for me than watching with constant buffering. I HIGHLY recommend this add-on.

The above is from 6 months ago. There have been several updates made to the add-on since then to keep it functional. It continues to be useful for me every day.

Unfortunately it not longer offers to download the 1080p HD videos without some pro account...

Good and reliable functionality (I upgraded to Pro). Great and responsive support and troubleshooting when YouTube changed its layout format. Thankful for this tool being available.

No browser integration but works. Would be nice if it can download just audio too.

Dishita is great. He takes his own time to maintain this and humbly does this as a side project. His work with this plugin saves me so much time, because I can watch news content at faster speeds using VLC. Thanks Dishita.

Works like a charm. But it doesn't download closed captions. Which is a little annoying.
