This used to be good, but now they want you to hand over a fist full of cash before you can download. Was one of my favorite add ons for years and years, but now I guess I'll uninstall.

the developer is working on a fix so other users also get the information and do not rate negative.

I've been using this extension for quite awhile and I am thoroughly satisfied with the ease of access. It is understandable that there will be times when YouTube succeeds in thwarting the developers' efforts but it doesn't take long for the fix and I'm very pleased to return to the use of the extension since the brief hiatus. Well done to the Developer!

Great widget! Very easy to use and downloads of videos are fast!
Please be aware that YouTube discourages downloads and frequently changes codes, so don't blame the this add-on for that glitch. I have noticed that my "download as" button was missing recently and I just updated the add-on and it's back again. Thank you for your great work Dishita!

Developer works hard to keep updated and working even though Youtube works to prevent this kind of downloading. I'm happy to support this plug-in with a donation.

This was my 'Go-To' for video DLs for a couple of years, but it stopped working on Mac/Firefox over a year ago. (in late 2023) I'm still hoping it will get fixed, but don't know how to report it. It's in my Add-Ons + gets updated, but randomly doesn't load in my browser, or just 'pretends' it's downloading when nothing actually is going on. ( But for several years before this happened, it worked great + I would have given it 5 stars.) This review was written April 18, 2025 (not 4 years ago, as it oddly states while I post this) - 2026 update : just Tried again on March 17 2026, as a new update promised to 'fix' these issues of the extension not working - but it still doesn't do anything. So frustrating. Guess I should stop expecting a different result :(
