posted 2 months agoHey! A popup after every download is way too intrusive — we've toned this down significantly in version 24.1. Give it another try, it should be much less annoying now! 😊- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19490947, 6 months agoTo anyone that donates to add-ons for their makers hard work.. this one should be on the top of the list! Over several yrs, this one has been the best bet.
This had alwoys worked great. Youtube changed some things and it had not worked for close to a year. The changes made by youtube required a new build from the ground up. The vids are now converted after download, I don't know much but I do know enough to know that it was no small feat.. They have gotten it back up and running, there are a few glitches but I am confident they will get worked out. This has been the BEST yt dl add-on I have ever used. simplest and fewest clips. I would love to be able to donate, the peeps; or person making this addon does a great job and I am confident ppl will not regret donating. If you can, help the guy out; hes been down for a yr because he [they(idk)] made the simplest, best and hes working on perfecting the new one. All the other ones I have used are a pain in the ass. I have to dl alot, mom mom is bedridden and eol.. she cant work her hands enough to do youtube anymore so I get her a local playlist daily. Thees add-ons keep her going and help her mental stimulation... I would be very generous with the maker of this specific add-on if I weren't struggling to keep the power on and her essential, expensive medical supplies.. To anyone that donates to add-ons for their makers hard work.. this one should be on the top of the list! - Rated 5 out of 5by atilio77, 6 months ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by meehcko, 7 months agoWorked fairly well for about 30 downloads or so, and now I can only download really low quality or be forced to pay for a Pro version

posted 2 months agoHi meehcko! Working well for 30 downloads then dropping to low quality or demanding payment — that's not how it should work. No Pro version is needed, it's all free. Version 24.1 removes these restrictions. Update and quality should be consistent from download 1 to 100! 😊 - Rated 5 out of 5by Donaldbain, 7 months ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17018735, 7 months agoUnfortunately, it only downloads empty video containers for me.
Developer response
posted 2 months agoHey! Empty video containers with no content — that's the 0 byte bug. Version 24.1 fixes this so you get actual video files. Update the extension and give it another try! 😊 - Rated 5 out of 5by Viktor, 7 months agoAmazing thing. There is quite a bug with multiple "Download as" buttons being after being far in the Youtube list, probably cause new button appears and old does not dissapear, so they stack up.

- Rated 5 out of 5by pgchase, 7 months agoExtremely convenient. Works right in the browser, so you can use it anywhere regardless of operating system. There's also an available desktop version which works on Windows, Mac & Linux. (I had to jump through some extra Linux hoops to get it working there, but that was the fault of Linux not this app's fault.)
