I've been using this Add-on for years. Simple, easy to use, and does what it says. Recently, YouTube has changed its technical specs that made HD videos no longer possible to direct download for ANY add-on. This add-on allows for a 1-time donation (I gave $10), and the extra infrastructure needed to support HD downloads is then supported by the developer. Works perfectly, easy to donate/input the registration code. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This has been a really good add-on for downloading YouTube videos. It's really easy, and despite the roadblocks YouTube keeps throwing up, the Dev is good at workarounds, and responding to emails when issues come up.

Okay guys - THIS add-on is the BEST. I am so happy I found it I can't even tell you. First, it works, and it works well. You have choices of format. Sometimes you have to wait a tiny bit, but it's still quicker than every other option on the planet basically.

It does what it says it does. It works. It is seamless and well-designed and easy to use. It's clear what is going on after the first time you use it. There are no weird ads. Couldn't be better.

I was worried at first that it might do something weird to my computer or something. Well it doesn't. No problems whatsoever.

I've used this for several years now and my friends always flip out when I tell them about it. As in, what? Like seriously? That's available? For real??? What??? No way! That's the typical reaction, and then they get it and it's history. It's that good.

Next, there's a team behind it who cares, and when the algorithm gets tricky, they respond to users and do whatever it takes to keep the party going. This app is so useful, helping to balance out corporate greed and dominance.

Highly, highly, recommended. Whoever made this did a great job, and continues to do a great job keeping it going amid all the changes of techie algorithms that happily we as users don't need to know.

YT continues to change code or prevent downloading but people seem to want to crap on Dishita's hard work in the reviews.

This add-on is invaluable for archiving content. I pay for the Pro subscription and it is 110% worth it (downloaded countless videos at this point). Even though its not working at the moment I know Dashita is doing whatever it takes to make it operational again. It's a one person operation.
