Version 1.0.0 (Initial Release)
ZenFeed AI introduces the first public version of the extension for LinkedIn feed filtering.
This release adds AI/ML keyword-based post filtering with both built-in and custom keywords, plus a dark-themed popup interface.
It also includes local settings storage and tab messaging support for Chrome (MV3) and Firefox/Zen, along with an MV2 Firefox manifest for environments that still require it.
Documentation and project basics were published as part of this release (README, CONTRIBUTING, and MIT license).
Version 1.3.0
This release improves filtering quality, usability, and LinkedIn UI compatibility.
What’s new
Added an Author Whitelist in the popup (name or /in/ slug per line).
If a post matches blocked keywords but the author is whitelisted, the post remains visible.
Improved author detection from profile links and common LinkedIn actor-name areas.
Fixes
Fixed blur overlay stacking so shields no longer appear over LinkedIn messaging, composer, or other overlays.
Expanded exclusions for messaging/share/composer surfaces to avoid false shield placement.
UX changes
Refined popup branding and layout for readability (cleaner labels, shorter helper text, improved scan stats contrast).
Updated shield text to: “This post contains blocked content” with a See post action (session-based reveal).
Cleanup
Removed the old in-page word highlighting experiment and automatically cleans legacy highlight nodes from older installs.Source code released under MIT License
