About this extension

LeakLatch is a local-first privacy firewall for AI prompts.

It checks text before it is sent to AI tools and custom websites. Built-in detectors can identify common API keys, passwords, access tokens, private keys, database URLs, government ID patterns, payment-card-like numbers, emails, phone numbers, and custom private terms.

When sensitive content is detected, LeakLatch explains why it was flagged and can block the submission or show a warning. Users can review the finding, cancel the action, or send the prompt once anyway.
