- The idea is really good, and it’s clear that a lot of effort went into developing this browser extension for Mozilla. However, it still needs some work. For me, the password simply doesn’t work - it won’t accept either my own password or a generated one. Maybe it has something to do with the encryption, but I’m not sure since I’m not a programmer. The project itself is really promising. I’d definitely buy a paid Pro version, but only once the password issue is fixed.
P.S. I installed the extension on an Android smartphone (Unihertz Jelly Star) running Android 13, with Mozilla Firefox version 154.0. - Rated 5 out of 5by antus, 6 months agoThis is a good extension. I've been using it on a PC at my work for several months now without any problems. There was a glitch on my home PC at some point and I had to delete the extension because the password wouldn't pass. I'm using this extension again now.
But remember, you can bypass the extension by deleting it from the browser. So it's better to detach it from the toolbar to hide it (it's a weak protection, but better than nothing).
Thanks to the developer! This is the best I could find to prevent access to sites with personal or potentially sensitive information without installing additional software on the PC.Developer response

Glad to hear the extension has been useful for you!
Regarding your point — you're absolutely right that removing the extension can bypass the protection. Unfortunately, due to browser security policies, extensions cannot prevent themselves from being uninstalled or fully lock access at that level. - Rated 5 out of 5by monguz1108, 7 months ago
