Molo compares Amazon product prices across supported European Amazon stores. This policy explains what the extension processes, what it stores locally, and which network requests are required.


On supported Amazon product pages, Molo may read the marketplace domain, ASIN, product title, displayed price, and current product-page URL. This is used only to identify the same product across supported stores and calculate whether a better deal exists.


Molo stores:
- Extension preferences such as visibility, onboarding status, savings threshold, sorting, and excluded countries
- A short-lived exchange-rate cache
- A short-lived product comparison cache
- Session-only dismiss state
- A randomly generated installation identifier used for service access and abuse prevention

Some preferences may sync through Firefox Sync if the browser's sync feature is enabled.


Molo requests matching product pages on supported Amazon marketplaces. It requests EUR exchange rates from open.er-api.com. It also sends the installation identifier, current Amazon page URL, and normal request metadata to shopwithmolo.com for feature eligibility and abuse prevention. The server stores a one-way hash of the identifier, first- and last-contact timestamps, IP and user-agent security data, and access or cooldown status. Eligible requests may be checked with open-lane.xyz.

These services may receive standard technical request information such as IP address, browser user agent, and request metadata.


Molo does not require an account, ask for or store Amazon passwords, store payment-card data for its own records, sell personal information, or operate a separate advertising or profiling database.


You can change Molo's settings, disable its on-page widget, or remove the extension to stop future processing.
