- Rated 3 out of 5by zen26, 11 days agoThe interface has finally been updated, which is great.
However, the backup function hasn't been updated, meaning that features like folders in the new functionality won't be backed up.
Secondly, if a downgrade is performed unexpectedly, all data will be lost, which is a very serious issue. (This is especially true if your plugins are from system symbolic links, and the update is a browser-related action.)
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13529030, 11 days ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14998972, 11 days ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Aich, 11 days agoI have loved OneTab for years. It has made my life infinitely easier.
I am also someone who hates change. I was quite upset a while back when an update made it so I couldn't see how many tabs were saved in a section. A tiny thing! And that's the kind of change I still don't like.
So I want to be incredibly clear that I LOVE the new update. Yes it's centre-aligned which is a little odd. Yes you still can't see the number at the top of each section.
BUT.
- You can move sections of tabs around
- You can set sections as projects/tasks
- You can ADD NOTES to a section when you add a title
- In the sidebar it now once again includes how many tabs are in a section
- SEARCH FUNCTION
This is all of the changes I didn't realise I needed or wanted (... well. Except for the moving sections around) but which all suit how I use OneTab - ways to sort tabs I want to go over and check in my own time. It also seems to have expanded the options to clarify some things and add new options with how tabs get opened? Without changing my old presets?
This is fantastic. OneTab Team? I want to be clear: I ADORE you for this. As someone who hates change, this is every change I have actually wanted from something I use.
Given I use tumblr and the hell updates we get there, this was a delightful change of pace. Thank you so much.Developer response

- Rated 1 out of 5by tim, 12 days agoNew update deleted ALL my tabs, with no warning. Insanity. How could you forget to write a migration script that imports the HTML to the new format!?
Developer response
posted 11 days agoHi, there is definitely a migration script, so there must be something else that went wrong. OneTab storage is handled by Firefox, and is stored in Firefox's internal databases. For some reason, Firefox has wiped this storage area. Do you remember recently being asked if you want to "Refresh Firefox"? This is a prompt shown to you when you upgrade to a new Firefox version (there is a new Firefox version released every month). The other possibility is if you had a browser or PC crash, which caused a disk corruption in the Firefox internal storage areas. Firefox would then wipe clean the affected storage area. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17741506, 12 days ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18747101, 12 days agowent from a 5-star extension to a 1-star (I'd give it minus 5 if I could) simple cause of the sh***y update that center-alligned everything without an option to revert it back to left allignment
STOP MESSING WITH HOW I WANT THINGS TO LOOK AND FEEL!!!
The new "ui update" is horrid, wastes so much "screen estate", and suffers from the same typical garbage "fluffy rounded cloudy corners and seperating things with 5 billion wasted pixel-space between each section" -.-
Exported tabs, uninstalled, reverted back to old version and disabled updates... - Rated 5 out of 5by TZ, 12 days agoI LOVE the new update! This is one of my oldest used addons and I am always loathe to see something old and stable changed, but this latest version adds some very good and needed function to it. Great job! <3

- Rated 5 out of 5by edythe, 15 days agoI love this extension. it helps me manage too-many-tabs addiction / compulsion. almost every browsing session, I open so many tabs that i can't remember what they are or where they are. with OneTab I right-click anywhere on a page and send them all away and the urls and page titles appear in a list on a OneTab tab, all safe and sound.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19033338, 18 days agoSo, what does it take to get Mozilla to approve your add-on update? It's already updated in Chrome and Edge. Does Mozilla have any contact info for their Add-Ons 'department'?
