About this extension
OpenPiP lets you launch the browser’s native Picture-in-Picture from the current video tab with one click. PiP stays above other tabs and apps, and you can resize/move it like normal PiP.

- YouTube
- Twitch
- Any page with a playable HTML5 <video> (when site/browser allow PiP)
🚨What it does:
- Click extension icon → finds active video → calls video.requestPictureInPicture()
- Adds a “PiP is playing” overlay on the source player to avoid double-controls
- Saves recently opened pages in local extension storage
