Polita+ 3.0.6 Release Notes

This update improves the Twitch badge hover preview experience and prepares Polita+ for public store release.

What changed:

• Improved badge hover preview behaviour on Twitch.
• Fixed the hover preview badge image opening the browser image right-click menu.
• Hover preview now behaves like part of the Twitch page instead of a standalone image.
• Keeps the existing badge outline, hover card, and colour preview behaviour from 3.0.5.
• Updated Chrome and Firefox extension packages to version 3.0.6.
• Cleaned package structure for browser store upload.

Main feature:
Polita+ lets viewers use custom static and animated badges in the Polita Badge Hub and Twitch chat experience, giving communities a more personal badge-style reward beyond normal emotes or fixed channel badges.

Polita+ v3.0.5 improves Twitch chat badge display and hover previews.

Changes:

• Fixed badge hover preview outline colours so they match the user’s selected outline colour
• Improved compatibility with the Polita badge API outline colour fields
• Kept badge rendering lightweight and smooth for Twitch chat
• No new permissions were added
• No new tracking, ads, analytics, or external dependencies were added

Version 3.0.4 update:
- Added improved 1px inner outline rendering for Polita+ Twitch chat badges.
- Added 24/7 performance optimisations for long-running Twitch chat sessions.
- Added fetch timeout protection.
- Reduced always-running overlay update pressure.

No login is required. The extension runs on supported Twitch chat pages and fetches public Polita+ badge data from polita.bot.
