ProAdBlock Shield is designed to protect your privacy while browsing the web. The extension performs its functionality locally within your browser and does not collect personal information.

ProAdBlock Shield does not collect, transmit, sell, or share:

Browsing history
Visited websites
Search queries
Personal information
Login credentials
Cookies
Payment information
Device identifiers
Analytics or telemetry data
Local Storage

The extension stores the following information locally using Firefox's extension storage:

User preferences
Protection settings
Per-site allowlist
Custom blocked domains
Hidden element rules
Anonymous activity counters
Imported/exported configuration

This data remains on the user's device.

Sync Storage

If the user enables Firefox Sync, supported extension settings may synchronize through Firefox's built-in synchronization service. ProAdBlock Shield does not operate or control this service.

Network Requests

The extension blocks network requests using Firefox's Declarative Net Request API and performs page cleanup locally.

The extension does not send browsing data to any external server.

Remote Code

ProAdBlock Shield does not execute remote code.

All scripts are packaged inside the extension.

The extension does not include:

Analytics services
Advertising SDKs
Tracking libraries
Third-party data collection
Permissions

Requested permissions are used only for extension functionality, including:

Blocking advertisements and trackers
Managing protection settings
Hiding selected page elements
Per-site protection controls
