About this extension

Users configure their Sarvam API key, language, and voice in the settings . When text is selected, the background script calls the Sarvam API and plays the resulting audio directly in the browser .

Privacy Note:
When you use the "Read-aloud with Sarvam" context menu, the selected text is transmitted to Sarvam AI's servers to perform the text-to-speech conversion . This means your selected content is shared with a third-party service. To ensure no data is sent to Sarvam's servers, please refrain from using the right-click read-aloud menu option. The extension by itself will not collect any data.
