Smart Sort for Amazon collects no data whatsoever. No personal information, browsing history, search queries, or usage analytics are collected, stored on any server, or transmitted to the developer or any third party. The extension operates entirely inside your browser: it reads the Amazon search page you are viewing and, when Smart Sort is enabled, fetches additional result pages from the same Amazon website using your own browser session, solely to merge and sort them locally on your screen. Your filter settings are saved by your browser's built-in extension storage (browser.storage.sync) and go nowhere else. The optional "Top 5 picks" button opens our companion website with the product data of your current results placed in the URL's #fragment, which browsers never transmit to any server - the analysis runs inside your browser on that page too, and the site sets no cookies and has no analytics.
