In short: the extension stores everything on your device (settings, IP change history, trusted network) in the browser's local extension storage; nothing is synced or sent to us. To learn your public IP it sends a GET request to v4.ip.stranix.net and v6.ip.stranix.net (our own API, hosted in the EU). That request carries your IP address and user-agent like any HTTP request, plus a header identifying the extension family/version (no user identifier, no cookie). The API keeps standard server logs for at most 30 days for operation and abuse prevention only. The optional WebRTC leak test contacts a public STUN server only when you click "Run test". No account, no analytics, no data sold or shared.
