- Rated 3 out of 5by MisterHammer, 6 days agoWhile in certain ways it is nice to see someone pick up where the OG developer left off, What would make the extension even better is the ability to hide the 'Next Background' button or remove it altogether.
Back when i used the OG tabliss, If i used the 'Upload Image' option, It didn't have that if i just uploaded one image.
Having the button present makes it feel slightly obnoxious.
Sorry if i offend anyone by saying that.Developer response
posted 6 days agoHi! Developer here 👋
You can hide the control buttons using the custom CSS widget by adding:
.controls {
display: none;
}
I’ll also fix this so that when there’s only a single image, the controls won’t be shown at all.
For future issues or questions, it’s much better to reach out via GitHub rather than leaving a review, that way we can actually help and track the problem properly. Also worth noting: someone specifically requested having controls on media backgrounds there. - Rated 5 out of 5by dajare, 24 days agoTerrific to see Tabliss so well maintained. The new features are subtle and welcome; no bloat! :)

Really cool.
One bit of constructive criticism is that the custom search engine would be more accessible if it was reworded to add something along the lines that users can try, as a general guide, going to the desired search engine, copying the URL of two different standard searches and replacing the part of the URL that changes between the two with {searchTerms}. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13532323, a month ago

Importing the JSON from the old install works a treat too! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17250183, 5 months ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Christopher Bolin, a year agoThis extension has improved so many elements over the original Tabliss. Recent updates are solid and have really exciting new changes. I wish the author could take over the original project. He seems to know where and how Tabliss needed to go.
Thanks
