About this extension
Unofficial fork of Chrome Tabs Outliner, ported to Firefox with able localization In github page https://github.com/Nikitamce/Tabs-Outliner---Firefox-Chrome-localizationed-version/tree/main/extension/_locales . Hierarchical session manager for windows/tabs: drag-and-drop tree, Save & Close restore, notes, local backups.
Tabs Outliner turns your browser session into a clear outline you can organize and return to later. This version is a community fork of the original Chrome Web Store extension (by Vladyslav Volovyk), adapted for Firefox and localized for easier everyday use.
WHAT IT DOES
• Live hierarchical tree of all open windows and tabs, kept in sync with your session
• Drag-and-drop to reorder, nest, and group tabs and windows
• Notes, comments, separators, and annotations in the tree
• One-click Save & Close for a tab or a whole window — context stays in the outline for restore
• Crash recovery / session protection so work is less likely to vanish after a restart
• Export outlines (plain text or interactive HTML)
• Manual backups and import/export of session data
• Works offline; no account required; data stays on your machine by default
WHAT THIS FORK ADDS
• Firefox support (Manifest V2 + Gecko settings)
• Built-in i18n with English and Russian out of the box (easy to add more languages)
• Chrome Manifest V3 packaging still available in the same project for Chromium browsers
• Cross-browser compatibility fixes (action/browserAction, safer messaging, etc.)
NOT AN OFFICIAL PRODUCT
This is an unofficial personal/educational fork focused on multi-browser support and localization.
