1. Data Collection and Usage The Extension uses the geolocation permission to verify and display your current physical timezone area (city/country). This data is strictly used locally on your device to complement the NTP time synchronization feature.
2. Storage The Extension uses the storage permission to save your user preferences locally on your device (e.g., chosen NTP server, auto-sync intervals, UI theme, and privacy toggle status). This data never leaves your browser.
3. Third-Party APIs The Extension fetches accurate UTC timestamps from public APIs (worldtimeapi.org, timeapi.io) and translates your local coordinates/IP into a readable city name using public mapping APIs (nominatim.openstreetmap.org, get.geojs.io). We do not send personally identifiable information to these services.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, location data, or browsing history with third parties, external servers, or data brokers. All processing is done locally within your browser environment.
