友人がツイッターにアップした動画の保存に使っています。
パソコンにあまり詳しくないのですが、とりあえず使えてます。細かい設定ができるようですが、そのうち試してみたいです。

It's easy to use, i download from almost every everywhere. I had some problem to download the companion app but managed.

Ich war jahrelang Fan von Flashgot. Leider ist der seit der Umstellung auf die WebExtensions nicht mehr lauffähig. Im Video-Downloadhelper (VDH) hab ich einen gleichwertigen Ersatz gefunden: Zuverlässig, einfach zu bedienen und ausreichend schnell. Einziges kleines Manko: Mein externer Downloader läßt sich nicht einbinden. Da aber VDH einen eigenen Downloader anbietet, kann ich das verschmerzen. (Übrigens bietet VDH ohne den externen Downloader den Download über HTML - ist nur eben nicht immer möglich). Leider ist der VDL sehr speicherhungrig (Bei 6 parallelen Downloads ist bei meinem Speicherausbau Schluss. Bei mehr droht der Absturz von Firefox). Aber das ist jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau. Denn ansonsten läuft der VDL sehr stabil. Inzwischen hab' ich mich so sehr auf ihn eingeschossen, dass mir die Entwicklung von Flashgot relativ egal ist und mein externer Downloader wohl irgendwann ausgemustert wird. Tolles Add-On, der Video Downloadhelper, ich möcht' ihn nicht mehr missen. Dank an die Entwickler.

this is a great add-on i used to save videos so that i can view them off-line when i travel. i recommend this to anyone who is on the move a lot.

Can improve more in terms of speed of downloading.

I have been using Video DownloadHelper for 8 years and it has been my favourite and most reliable tool for down loading purposes. So much so I ceased using others, and retain this one and its periodic upgrades. My downloads are used only for personal use or educational reasons. The periodic upgrades and optional add-ons as different formats appear, have been excellent. The optio of providing a comment is also great as some times I donate and others I provide commentary.
