Really good and helpful!

Video Download Helper is an excellent Firefox extension! While I don't download that many videos, I find it particularly useful for downloading all the linked images on various photography related websites with one easy click.

The only negative item worth mentioning is that even though I paid to register the extension, I am still "nagged" after every so many uses to "donate" to the developer. The purpose of registering was to enjoy the extension's usefulness without repeated nagging.

I teach kids Mandarin and this add on helps me download the songs for my teaching. I enjoyed using it a lot!

The people who are writing bad reviews about this product are computer illiterate, There are different ways how to download the videos. im currently using the regular version , downloading x3 videos simultaneously with no barcode/watermark in .mp4 format.. it so simple. just install the companion app and download the videos , after creating a directory.

Update Dec-2024. Now they SPLAT a huge watermark taking up 1/6 of the screen ruining your download. Why use their tool if it ruins your downloads? Developers are bonkers. They also hassle you for $30.00 to remove this. You can pick other downloaders.
There are firefox add-ons that are not this intrusive and do not require $30.00US to remove. Look elsewhere.

Do not install this rubbish. Adds horrible barcode to video. Unwatchable! Uninstalled!!!!

Requires an additional app and you have to pay to remove a watermark and may be to listen the audio because my downloaded videos are mute. Why it not clear from the beginning that it is not free?

This is a brilliant add-on for Firefox. It continues to be invaluable for me as I collect hunting and dog training videos. Very easy to use and downloads can be actioned and monitored from the icon in the toolbar.
