Works well for some videos. For others, you need an additional download.
Installed the companion application. First video I tried had huge watermark. Sure I can remove the watermark, for $28. Seriously overpriced.

Apart from a period of about 3 months, when Firefox was upgrading and it was impossible to download, I have always found dwhelper very easy to navigate with the minimum of fuss.
However it seems from this week that now only one file can be downloaded for free with a 2 hour wait for the next one,
I will now have to use the jdownloader which is not so convenient but is free . I will be sorry tp part company.

Those of us who hate Windows 10 and above, due to frequent crashes, but love Video Download Helper are more than a little piked...why aren't there links to previous versions of DLH that worked like magic on Windows 7 Pro? There is not another video downloader that equals DLH...I know. I've looked for days to try to figure out why I cannot get DLH to work...then, viola, a goggle search took me to the most disappointing web page in recent years...to use DLH I have to change from an excellent OS to a piece of garbage, Win 10 & or 11...I say this as a Computer Forensic Scientist/examiner/investigator, with a PhD. By limiting the OS functionality for DLH use, my tasks just got extremely more difficult.
