This does exactly what it claims and does it well.

I have downloaded thousands of videos with this add-on. I have been using Video DownloadHelper for years ant the creator clearly cares about this add-on, having migrated it from version to version of Firefox and offering several improvements over the years. The latest version revamped the UI, making more modern and a delight to use. Simple, lightweight and not intrusive, I heartily recommend it.

The most consistent addon to extract URLs. Tried dozens. This is the ONE! :)

Best downloader so far. Very easy to use. Multiple downloads at a time. Very pleased. It just needs a subtitle downloader!! Even if the subtitle downloader was difficult and complicated it would still be desirable.

So easy to use and very helpful to me, I can save video for my own consumption easily.

Everything's fine and dandy until you download a video, which then appears a GIANT QR CODE WATERMARK on the video itself. This happened after I downloaded the external helper to download a meme off youtube.

Turns out you gotta buy a license or whatever to be watermark-less. Yeeeeaaahh, no thanks.

The last update is great: new interface, more information, easier use.

reports that downloading 720 or 1080 video is an issue now yet there are other programs that do it with ease.

Awesome downloader. Just need a few tweaks to download apps like loom or vimeo:-) but recommend it definitely!
