- Rated 5 out of 5by BirdBoread, 2 years agoI've found this add-on invaluable in preserving videos that would otherwise be lost or erased. It's worked to download every video I've tried it on so far, would definitely recommend.
Things like this are also incredibly useful in this era of 'always online', because you can actually download the video you want to watch offline and... actually watch it offline. No connection or subscription to a service needed. - Rated 5 out of 5by Uncle, 2 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Goodman, 2 years agoI would love to review this version, but I haven't been able to use the last few versions because I use an older operating system. I can't use any version of VDH any more, but I'm hesitant to update to a newer operating system just to get VDH, because that would be to risk a lot of my older programs suddenly becoming obsolete and potentially unreadable by newer versions of those programs, and thus losing some of my most valuable creative work. It would sure be nice if the newer versions of VDH could be back-fitted to older operating systems as well.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18288023, 2 years agoWhat was available before sliced bread? I do not know either, but Video Download Helper is better than sliced bread. It is easy to set up on FireFox and works like a charm. Where has it been all this time while I was trying to download without it?
