Dev is very vocally frustrated about their OSS extension flagging spuriously in VirusTotal.
TO BE CLEAR: Their code is clean, if/when audited.
**The MAJOR problem is with their installers that are SUS AF.
**The solution: d/l their code and build it locally on your won machine, bypassing their sus installer apps.
**If you can't DIY, don't even think of installing on a machine you use for secure purposes like Banking. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 16787216, 3 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18041564, 3 years agoit downloads all dailymotion's videos from the website that uses that format. which is great since those are the websites that i use to watch my animes.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Armando, 3 years agoIt does what is meant to do, download videos. I rarely use it unless I wanna download some movies to watch later. The UI is a little confusing but I just download the one that is a little obvious. I give it 3 because the playback quality in VLC is what I think "Choppy, laggy" Im not sure if this is a codec issue since I updated my vid codes packages and it still plays it choppy. I've also tried in multiple media players.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16866800, 3 years agoI download videos to play them back later using VLC and playing at double speed. This video download tool did not download videos with sufficient clarity to allow the double speed. When I speeded the playback up, the soundtrack was broken up. It would play for a few seconds, then stop for a few seconds, all the way through the video. The soundtrack had an intermittent clicking or popping sound at normal speed like it was barely keeping up. This extension could be a good tool if the soundtrack problem were corrected, but as it stands, it is not yet ready for prime time. FYI, I was downloading from a Kajabi storage site when I had this problem. The sample YouTube download you suggested in your installation process worked fine. Your extensive made me download an app from another vendor, MIG, to effect the download process. I don’t know if the problem came from your extension or that app, but they want $28.50 per year to use their software, and given this problem in downloading, I chose not to use or pay for the MIG app. Please let me know when you’ve corrected this, and I’ll try again.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Panos K., 3 years agoExcellent addon but with not a friendly UI.
Please, make things easier.
Give us the option to restrict what is displayed in download panel. (MaxVariants is NOT working)
Give us the option to block some "variants". I do not want "audio only" or ".webm" etc. entries.
Force the plugin to clear the list on a page reload instead of adding entriew in the list.
Give us some info about Settings entries.
For example, what is the "Video size" setting value B,KB,MB or what ?
Thanks for your effort and time
