Works like a charm on Firefox release 116.0.3 (64-bit). I haven't met any download failures so far. Any type of video and any source and any website... It just works. I shall thank the developer for such good work.

Since a Firefox update to 116.0.3 (64-Bit), Downloadhelper doesn't wworks more. Very sad. Now I use the free Mediahuman without problems.

Light, Stable and Easy

Used on SteamDeck, works well. Download the companionapp installer for "other linux versions", open terminal from download folder, run the two commands. Use Flatseal to grant Firefox file permissions. This will "refresh" Firefox, so log in to your account again to return your addons. Remove file permissions when done.

Most amazing add-on I've used so far. Pretty much downloads any video from any site, including from sites that I previously could not download. Better than any extension I've used on Chrome too.
