Settings are not reflected when Firefox is restarted.

I was able to set it by changing the theme.

I'm a big fan of Vivaldi, but I always like Firefox more.

The dynamic tab color change is one of the things that I like about Vivaldi, and was so happy to see that someone had created a version of it on Fierfox.

And, I have to say that I like this implementation better than how it's handled on Vivaldi.
