1. Blur mode (video blur) The area around the player shows a real-time soft blur that follows the colors of the video you’re watching. It adds a cohesive look across the screen—like watching in a cinema or a room with soft ambient light—for a more immersive feel.
2. Solid mode (light gray) The empty space around the player is filled with a simple, eye-friendly light gray. With less visual noise on screen, it’s easier to focus on the video itself.

💡 How to use — Setup is simple.

After installing the extension, open a YouTube watch page.
Click the youtublur icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the popup.
Choose either “Solid (light gray)” or “Blur (video blur)”—that’s it!
Your choice is saved automatically and carries over the next time you watch.
