Although the add on works mostly correctly, please add an option for keeping the settings by DOMAIN, not by SITE.
The SITE option is useless, as it refers to each different page under a site. It should keep the same settings for a whole domain, or at least we should have that option. Otherwise we need to adjust the size every time we visit a new article/page on a site.
Thanks
Thanks for the response, and forgive me for insisting. What is the point then of the site option with the current status of the web? I will just put an example:
You go to https://slashdot.org/ and set your custom zoom settings. Fine.
Now you click on any article at all, you are still on slashdot but the address is https://tech.slashdot.org/story/. You have just lost your custom zoom settings.
So, what is the point? Is there a technical limitation that prevents the setting by whole domain and subdomain?
Thanks a lot for your work, and for answering.

posted 8 years agoIn Per-Site zoom mode, for 'http:' and 'https: pages, Zoom Page WE remembers zoom settings by the domain name (but not by the sub-domain). For 'file:' and 'about:' pages, Zoom Page WE remembers zoom settings using the full URL.

Thank you! <3 - Rated 4 out of 5by TheInvoker, 3 months agoIt's working for me and it's great because now i can choose between full zoom or text only zoom for every website. firefox settings to choose different type of zoom for each website. it's a global setting.
Edit: i just noticed a bug with Reddit. Not all the text is zoomed. only the first 10-15 topic titles are enlargened and the names of the subreddits on the left never change no matter what zoom i set. - Rated 1 out of 5by centurion 2000, 4 months ago

Setting the font size to a default of 20 is great. If a site is wonky, and I use it alot, I'll use this extension for the base font and stylus to tweak any bad CSS. I can't believe that in 2025 there are still so many front end guys that don't check how their pages look in at least Firefox and Chrome on Windows, Linux and Mac.

For instance their instructions say this:
"After installation of Zoom Page WE, there will be a new icon on the main toolbar with a blue badge showing the current zoom level."
That is NOT true. There was no blue icon on the toolbar (and they should have shown a picture of the icon to let us know what it looks like).
Here is how to make that icon appear in Firefox version of Zoom Page WE:
Click on the Firefox Extension icon which is on the Firefox Toolbar.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Marty, a year agoI am totally enthusiastic about this extension because it allows you to enlarge the font on a homepage on a per-site basis. I have been looking for this for a long time. I was always annoyed that there was no extension for Firefox like Zoom Text only for Google Chrome.
