by NeilMT, 3 months agoUnfortunately it does not work on Youtube. Tried stacks of other options ALL require you to pay for multiple downloads. This used to be a first class downloader.

The download issues were caused by a YouTube algorithm change that temporarily broke things. We've now released version 24.1, which fixes the problem and restores full download functionality — no need for any paid alternatives. Every YouTube downloading extension has to be updated when YouTube makes changes. This one has kept up, after some delay, as well as paid for pro Video Download Ultimate, better than other free ones I've tried. If it had better controls - e.g., an obvious way to cancel downloads - and settings - e.g., ability to select download destination - I would rate it 5 stars.

Simply share the video url to the email address provided in the network error message. I would suggest you try different video as well.
