by Firefox user 13485379, 8 years agoHaving a little difficulty getting this configured properly for my use. How do I accomplish the following?:
1. Send all Traffic including DNS over configured proxy by default. ( configured the entry you cannot delete for this purpose as socks5)
2. Added 2nd Proxy as socks5 with blacklist patterns. (for sites I do not want to to through the proxy including DNS)
3. Choose option "Use Enabled by patterns"
Regardless of which proxy setting I choose, all traffic is going through the proxy server and ignoring the patterns that I've set up. Shouldn't there be an option to use a specific proxy and NOT ignore patterns?
Also, why is it that you cannot delete the default, it seems to over complicate the process of configuring this add-on. Why is there not an option to add patterns to the default setting?
Patterns I don't want going over the proxy: *.google.com, *.microsoft.com, *.xfinity.com, everything else should go through the proxy including DNS.
Thanks for your help, hopefully I'm just missing something simple.

The extension keeps staying connected to the very first city that was selected during the initial setup. Even when changing the location in the settings, it still remains stuck on that original city.
The developers seriously need to investigate this issue. Me and several other users have been experiencing the same problem, and the only temporary fix seems to be uninstalling and reinstalling the extension completely.Developer response
posted 5 days agoI would love to help. I use FoxyProxy myself every day and if I saw this problem, I'd fix it. Since there are so many different settings, it's possible we are using it differently and that is why I have not seen the problem you describe. This is the wrong place to debug and solve the problem. Could you please email me at help@getfoxyproxy.org? - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18586574, 20 days ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Lulu5239, 5 months agoWorks and the log feature is useful, but there is a chance that this slows down my phone's performance when watching videos, even without any proxy selected. I now disable this extension when not actually using it.
