by o-neil, 9 years agoIt was quite ok for the purpose I used it for, although not so comfortable to configure with its user interface, but now getting worse.
I am still using it as I don't want to look for an alternative due to time issues, but probably not so long anymore.
It really got worse with the version 5.
I rolled back to version 4.6.5 manually and deactivated the auto-update for this addon.
I lost all my settings due to the auto-update to version 5, which they also mention in the desciption of the new version - below - with saying sorry, but a sorry does not help.
The import function should work and should exactly solve the supposed "Firefox limitations" but it doesn't do..
Although the old design wasn't really good either, the new design is just a nightmare.
Besides that the new version displays my proxy password in cleartext on the screen - no way!

Regarding the issue reported by some users that the extension cannot be used, it is suggested to try changing the value of the "network.proxy.type" setting in about:config. If the value is 0, you can try changing it to 1. If it is PAC, you can change it to 5. - Rated 1 out of 5by cxtbs, a month ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by daydreaming, 2 months agoFor almost a year now, FoxyProxy hasn’t been functioning properly. The extension keeps staying connected to the very first city that was selected during the initial setup. Even when changing the location in the settings, it still remains stuck on that original city.
The developers seriously need to investigate this issue. Me and several other users have been experiencing the same problem, and the only temporary fix seems to be uninstalling and reinstalling the extension completely. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18586574, 2 months ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Lulu5239, 7 months agoWorks and the log feature is useful, but there is a chance that this slows down my phone's performance when watching videos, even without any proxy selected. I now disable this extension when not actually using it.
