EDIT: LOVE the fact we can now turn off posting time + disable open image in new window button. I didn't quite understand the reason behind not being able to use underscore instead of dash but honestly it's a minor nitpick.
EDIT 2: still works for me and it seems like the author keeps it updated at least somewhat regularly. No issues save for the fact that videos aren't being saved in the highest resolution possible but lots of other apps have such issues (and more!). No complaints.

posted 2 years agoUsually I don't change the default filename, just add the username and the post time. The reason for using a dash as a separator is because there are underscores in the default file name already.
And, now that custom filenames are supported, you can remove the username and the post time if you wish.

I don't have the problem before, but now on the post/reel, the control now disappears - no problem with the stories though. I'm on Firefox 151.0.

- Rated 4 out of 5by taseronify, a month agoHave been using this great tool for a long time. Worked great until v2.4.4. It has a memory leak which makes it grow to +4GB in memory. For rolling back to 2.4.2; I uninstalled then reinstalled. Thanks for developing this tool.Hope to see the new version.

I've already rolled back to the previous version 2.4.2. - Rated 1 out of 5by Hollywood76, 2 months agoSince the latest version of this add-on it is totally unuseable in Firefox 149.0.2. Am close to uninstall this addon once and for all. It has become worse and slow with every new update. Activating this add-on and watching IG stories, reels or pictures fills within minutes the whole memory (RAM) of my PC. 32GB installed and a useage of 99% totally slowing down the whole machine. Deactivating this addon and using the one that names also "Instagram Downloader" - everything is fine and works perfectly.
