by Sérgio Henrique S P, 20 days agoRealmente a extensão é ótima, mas, agora, ficou paga, após 14 dias de uso. Ainda não tem outra aqui no Firefox, mas já tem para Chrome.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Clueingforbeggs, 7 minutes agoThey got rid of their free tier, forcing users to pay for features they clearly do not want to use (and it's obvious they know this, because they're advertising it as an upgrade to premium, despite the fact that the cost of running premium is why they're doing this), just because those features were too expensive for the people who actually want to use them.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 20122884, 14 hours agoWas good until it ask to pay to work (unless you want an extension that just say "use premium to use extension", so not "Some features may require payment" ...

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 20081746, a day agoNie dość, że słabe to teraz jeszcze wymuszają premium, żeby w ogóle działało. Podziękuję za tę wątpliwą przyjemność.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 20118462, 3 days agoUseless, doesnt do anything unless you pay for a premium subscription. For a simple spell checker thats terrible. It was awesome for the first week, before I realised I was using a free tiral for the premium version. All this did was highlight how well a simple spell checker can work, but with zero basic features its entirely useless. Im not signing up to a subscription for a simple spell checker.
- Rated 1 out of 5by drthmik, 3 days agoUsed this for YEARS
Was a great free app that checked spelling and grammar with options for more in premium
Now they want $70 a year to do the same thing
EVERYTHING is premium
I'll be deleting this app IMMEDIATELY after submitting
Truly awful, would give 0 stars if I could - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19681566, 3 days ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by M01t3n, 4 days agoI used this tool for several months and and had a good experience with it for a long time, however, the recent changes make it unusable as an extension without paying.
Prior to this, I would have given it a 5-star rating, and should have, but I cannot currently do so given the price.
I wish for the best and hope that it does well, though I will personally not continue using it for the foreseeable future, even if I understand the reasoning behind the changes. If you are willing to pay for its services however, it is very high quality and I experienced few, if any issues with it. - Rated 1 out of 5by raxa, 4 days ago"We have made the difficult decision to limit the use of LanguageTool’s browser extension to Premium users only."
Ah yes using the browser extention is paid but you can still install it for "free" ... yes ... i'm shure it will help to not died again free ai ... - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 20115663, 4 days agoGREEDY EXTENSION. NOW ASKS FOR MONEY JUST FOR USE IT.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Аноним, 4 days agoIt worked badly, contains lot of misspells, and recently developers just removed free usage. It was 3 of 5 early, now worse then 1/5
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13908078, 5 days agoThis extension established itself at a time when there were few alternatives, giving it a firm market share in its category. But now, when there are a bunch of alternatives to choose from, you decide to put every single feature behind a paywall?
You deserve to make some money out of your work but damn, that is a wild decision. - Rated 1 out of 5by loomloon, 5 days ago
- Rated 2 out of 5by Nícholas Kegler, 5 days agoIt was good, but I often had issues with the extension. It was full of bugs. Recently, after accepting changes, it stopped replacing the original text correctly and would basically concatenate the old text with the corrected version.
Now they want to start charging for usage, which is fine— I get it. But at least make the product reliable before asking people to pay for it. - Rated 1 out of 5by Tim, 5 days agoWhen using any of the non-American English languages, I found that many words are missing. Absolutely bizarre that it doesn't have all the words in from the big dictionaries as a base-line. This was ok when it was free, but I'm not paying for a spell checker that doesn't know what's in the dictionary. You know your AI is slopping it up when Word 97 does a better job.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Rvier.fr, 5 days agoNo free tiers anymore. Require a premium account, so identification required. And add difficulty to run his own hosted server.
