by Firefox user 13547447, 8 years agoSince Firefox upgraded to V57, the recent versions of the Roboform extension for Firefox are much less useful than they used to be - no upper toolbar and the optional lower toolbar randomly disappears or gets obscured; no option on the button interface to fill only or edit password fields, only fill and submit; a cluttered screen on the button interface that requires more clicks and provides fewer functions. Roboform blames this on the Firefox requirement to use Web Extensions, and Firefox pins the responsibility on Roboform to adapt its interface. In truth, Firefox is free and Roboform charges so Roboform has the most to lose if customers leave because of the reduced capability.. Even before Firefox V57, Roboform was becoming less useful because of two-factor authentication, two screen logins, sites that block automatic filling of password fields, and the like. I've used Roboform for many years, but at this point I would recommend that a new user try one of the free password managers.

Es erscheint auf der Roboform Website auf grauem Hintergrund folgende Meldung als kleines Popup Fenster : RoboForm Start Page has detected RoboForm browser extension but cannot connect with it.
Please update RoboForm browser extension.
Was soll man nun tun ?
In anderen Browsern :Vivaldi ,Brave,Opera funktioniert das Addon ! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13769660, 23 days ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13720335, 23 days agoI've been using Roboform forever. I've tried out others over the years, but they didn't have the features I needed.
What motivated me to write this is that I had to submit a support ticket, and they responded with a helpful answer in one minute! Best support I've ever received from a company. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18672029, 24 days agoFunktioniert leider seit ein paar Wochen nicht mehr mit Firefox

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13456834, 2 months agoOne time, one of the best password managers available. I have been a user for several years, with licenses in ver6 and ver7 before 8 wholesale upgrade & now 9. Unfortunately they appear to be killing it slowly but surely with untimely and poor quality "upgrades"
After finally fixing login & attachment issues a few months ago, they have now brought them back again with this last update. - Rated 1 out of 5by litlewolf2, 2 months agoWas a great extension. I bought mine years ago, but after having to switch computers I lost access. So I went with free version. They stopped supporting the extension for free. Now they want annual fees. Personally I think this should be a one time fee for life like what I originally paid for. Now they even removed the desktop version of being able to input passwords. App sucks now.
- Rated 5 out of 5by KevinZ, 2 months agoI chose Roboform maybe a couple of decades ago when I held a senior staff position in IT which had the word "security" (among others) in my job description, and I have not been disappointed. It seems well structured from a security standpoint; I could be blind, but I'm not seeing the catastrophic compromises other respected products fall prey too. I'm never fighting it - seeming inconveniences appear to have security in the background. Roboform has numerous nice features like tending to hide the password fills from screen captures, and it is good at adapting to the various security contortions introduced in qualifications across multiple platforms, IMO not an easy feat. Highly recommended.

- Rated 1 out of 5by zwovi, 4 months agoOne thing that's overlooked in this add-on's presentation is that an account needs to be created. I fail to see why this is sensible just to generate OATH/ TOTP. On the contrary, I see it as an unnecessary security risk and a needless disclosure of personal data.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Neil, 6 months agoI've been using Roboform for years, and on the whole I like it - but the Firefox extension is SOOOO SLOOOW, it takes a good 10-15 seconds for the toolbar menu to open and populate (it is instant in Chrome). It happens on multiple PCs and reinstalling Firefox doesn't help. Please fix.
