Safe Select does not collect, store, transmit, sell, share, or upload your data.

The extension runs only when you click its toolbar button. Until you activate it, it does nothing. When activated, it works only inside the current tab and current live page instance to temporarily disable navigation so you can select and copy text more safely.

Safe Select does not create an account, does not use analytics, does not use tracking, does not use cookies, and does not send any information to any server. It has no cloud component and no remote code.

Safe Select does not save browsing history, page contents, selected text, copied text, form entries, passwords, or personal information. It does not store per-site settings or persistent user data.

All behavior happens locally in your browser session. The effect automatically ends when the page is refreshed or you navigate away from that page.
