Thanks for the suggestion! The current 5x limit is intentional. Very high gain values such as 10x or 50x usually cause severe clipping, distortion, and potentially unsafe listening levels rather than producing useful volume.

For now, the maximum will remain at 5x. I may consider an optional higher range in the future if it can be implemented with appropriate limiting and safety controls.
